This Privacy Policy explains how SK Travel Group (operating the brand Egypt Stay & Tours, referred to here as “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our website, submit a hotel or tour inquiry, or contact us for travel planning assistance. The website operator is based in Cairo, Egypt.

1. What we collect

When you submit a hotel booking inquiry or a tour booking inquiry, we collect: your name, email address, optional phone number, travel dates, party composition (number of adults, children, rooms), any special requests you choose to share, and the specific hotel or tour you are inquiring about. When you contact us through the contact form we additionally collect any free-text message you provide.

We collect minimal technical data through standard server logs (IP address, request path, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. We do not currently run third-party analytics, ad tracking, or advertising cookies on this website.

2. Why we collect it (lawful basis)

We process the data above to (a) respond to your inquiry with a quote or follow-up question, (b) coordinate with the hotel or tour operator you selected, (c) keep an internal record of your request for the duration of trip planning and travel, and (d) comply with applicable Egyptian record-keeping obligations.

Our lawful basis for processing inquiry data is performance of a service requested by you (replying to your inquiry) and our legitimate interest in operating a travel business safely.

3. Who we share it with

We share inquiry data only with the people necessary to fulfil it:

• The internal SK Travel reservations and operations team handling your specific request.
• The relevant hotel front-of-house team (for a hotel inquiry) or the assigned tour operator (for a tour inquiry).
• Our infrastructure provider (database hosting). We currently use a single hosted database provider; we do not transfer inquiry data to third-party marketing platforms.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

4. How long we keep it

Inquiry records are retained for up to 36 months after submission so we can serve repeat travellers and respond to follow-up questions about a previous trip. After that period, records are either deleted or de-identified for aggregate reporting. You may request deletion at any time (see “Your rights” below).

5. International transfers

Our database may be hosted outside Egypt depending on the infrastructure provider in use at the time. Where international transfers occur, we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards and on the necessity of the transfer to fulfil your inquiry.

6. Your rights

Depending on your country of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email booking@sktravel.tours with the reference code from your booking inquiry. We respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

This website uses only strictly necessary cookies needed for the site to function (for example, to preserve form state during a booking request). We do not currently set non-essential, advertising, or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this Policy and present a consent notice before any non-essential cookies are set.

8. Children

This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has submitted information through the site, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least seven days before they take effect.
