These Terms govern the contract between SK Travel Group (operating as Egypt Stay & Tours, “we”, “us”) and the lead traveller (“you”) on any tour, hotel stay, transfer, or combined travel arrangement booked through this website or directly with our team. By accepting a written quote you accept these Terms.
1. Inquiries are not bookings
Submitting an inquiry through this website does not create a contract. A contract is formed only when (a) we issue you a written quote, (b) you confirm acceptance of that quote, and (c) the deposit referenced in the quote is received in cleared funds.
2. Prices and currency
Prices on this website are indicative starting points (“from” rates) and are quoted in US dollars. The binding price for your trip is the total set out in your written quote. We absorb minor fluctuations between quote and booking; significant changes (taxes, airline surcharges, government fees) may be passed through with prior notice. We do not collect card details on this website.
3. Deposits and final payment
Standard programme: 25% deposit on confirmation, 75% balance due 45 days before arrival. Some Nile cruises and peak-season hotels require higher deposits or earlier final-payment dates; your quote will state the exact schedule. Bookings made within 45 days of arrival require full payment on confirmation.
4. Documents and visas
You are responsible for valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance. We provide guidance (see our Visa Information page) but the final authority is your home government and the Egyptian consular service. We cannot accept liability for travel denied for documentation reasons.
5. Changes by you
Minor changes (room category, internal flight time, hotel night addition) are usually free more than 30 days before arrival, subject to availability. Inside 30 days, suppliers may apply revision fees, which we pass through at cost. Major changes may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking — see our Cancellation & Refund page.
6. Changes by us
Itineraries can be affected by weather, security closures, supplier failure, or government action. We commit to the best like-for-like substitute (equivalent hotel category, equivalent site programme) and to refund any unused, unrecoverable supplier cost. Material changes notified more than 14 days before arrival give you the option to cancel for a full refund of unspent costs.
7. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control — natural disaster, war, civil unrest, pandemic restrictions, or governmental orders. Where such events prevent travel, we will work to obtain supplier refunds on your behalf and return them to you net of unrecoverable costs.
8. Conduct on trip
We reserve the right to remove a traveller from a programme without refund if their behaviour endangers themselves, other guests, our staff, or local people. Egyptian law applies on the ground in Egypt.
9. Insurance
Travel insurance covering medical evacuation, cancellation, and baggage is strongly recommended and is the traveller's responsibility. We can recommend providers; we do not sell insurance directly.
10. Liability
We act as a tour organiser. Hotels, airlines, cruise operators, guides, and drivers are independent contractors. We select and supervise them carefully but their actions are their own. Our aggregate liability for any single traveller is capped at the total amount they paid for the affected services, except where local law prohibits such a cap.
11. Complaints
If something goes wrong on trip, tell your guide and our duty manager immediately so we can fix it in real time. Post-trip complaints should be sent in writing to booking@sktravel.tours within 28 days of your return; we acknowledge within 5 business days and resolve within 30 days.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Cairo courts, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your home country requires otherwise.
