Journey highlights
This 9-day ultra-luxury luxury introduces you to the very best of Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, crafted by Egypt Stay & Tours' specialists with over 20 years of Egypt expertise. From the moment your private chauffeur greets you at the airport to your final farewell, every detail has been considered. You'll travel with an expert Egyptologist (or local equivalent) who brings ancient history to life, stay in carefully selected ultra-luxury accommodations, and experience moments most travellers miss.
Unlike generic group tours, this itinerary is fully customisable. Add experiences, extend stays, upgrade hotels, or adjust the pace — we tailor every journey to suit your style. With 24/7 in-country support, transparent pricing, and direct relationships with all suppliers (including our own seven hotels in Egypt), you'll experience Egypt the way it should be experienced: seamlessly, authentically, and without compromise.
Egyptologist's note
Nine days built around access points that aren't on the standard itinerary: post-public-hours Egyptian Museum, the Tutankhamun-tomb facsimile in the Theban Necropolis (the original is closed to most groups for conservation), KV9 Ramesses VI on private booking, the Red Pyramid interior at Dahshur with the public cleared. Access work is what we do — this trip is built around it.
Historical context
Several of the most important New Kingdom tombs (KV62 Tutankhamun, KV17 Seti I, QV66 Nefertari) are now restricted or facsimile-only because microclimate damage from breath and sweat was eroding the painted plaster faster than it could be conserved. Factum Foundation's 1:1 facsimiles are themselves serious museum-grade reproductions; seeing the real Seti I (when access permits) followed by the facsimile is its own master class in what conservation actually is.
Insider tip from your guide
After-hours access is sold per slot and the slot list rotates by month and museum policy. Confirm the access-letter signed copy at booking, not just verbally — the value of the trip is that paperwork, not the scheduled itinerary text.
Meet your representative at Cairo Airport, private transfer to hotel. Welcome briefing with your Egyptologist guide. Evening at leisure.
